Over the course of it’s 70-year history, Wood-Mode custom-crafted cabinetry has build a reputation for it’s fashion-forward designs, superior quality, fine craftsmanship, and a dedication to protecting the environment. From the first cabinet built in a small Pennsylvania lumber mill in 1942 to custom kitchens completed in their state-of-the-art facility today, each and every Wood-Mode cabinet is proudly Made in the USA. The skill and dedication of the individual woodworker is still at the heart of Wood-Mode’s quality. Their staff includes as many as three generations of highly skilled craftsmen working side by side. From the selection of the lumber to one of many finishes, a majority of the cabinetry making process is still completed by hand. At each and every stage, from lumber selection and milling to finish and assembly, it is the knowledge of the American craftsman that makes Wood-Mode a leader in fine custom cabinetry.
Innovation is defined simply as a “new idea, device, or method.” The Galley is all three. Inspired by a desire to find solutions to problems that had existed for years in the way kitchens worked, (or didn’t work), The Galley was invented by an award-winning kitchen designer whose vision was to create a central workstation hub where every task in his kitchen could be accomplished. He put the very first Galley in his own home. Today, the Galley has grown to be an entire line of super-functional, smart and stylish workstations where one can prep, cook, serve, entertain, and clean-up, all in one convenient place. Highly-engineered and hand-crafted in the USA, The Galley is now leading the kitchen industry in innovation, quality and just pure fun. Galley owners tell us all the time that they can’t imagine ever having another kitchen without The Galley.
